Accelerate with ATS: Tape 101

This 90 minute session will provide an overview of the IBM tape and IBM tape library product lines. We'll begin with the LTO and 3592 tape drives and conclude with our flagship library; the TS3500.  Along the way we’ll discuss speeds; feeds; connectivity; compatibility; capacity; virtual tape; data deduplication and the Shuttle. This session will primarily focus on Open Systems versus z/OS.

IBM System Storage Registration Program Updates

IBM has announced several changes to the IBM System Storage Registration Program. Those changes are:

1) New registration forms required and new e-mail address.

Effective Monday, January 23, 2012, only the new "IBM Systems Registration Form" and the new "IBM Systems Registration Extension Form"  will be accepted. The new forms include multiple products. For System Storage requests, you are to select "System Storage" from the "Brand" drop down. Only one product is accepted per form.

IBM DS Series Pre-Sales Technical Training, January 11-12th

This virtual Pre-Sales Technical Training combines both lecture and technical lab sessions to give the participant a well rounded experience on the products. Lectures introduce and/or provide a refresher on selling the IBM DS5000, DS3500 and DCS3700 series family hardware, software, premium features, and competitive positioning.
