WebSphere DataPower Appliances Supply

Based on the unprecedented demand for the DataPower appliances in 4Q11, to ensure delivery and revenue recognition for the DataPower  products in 2011, please focus on closing all deals in November with slips closing in the first week of December.

Hopefully we will be able to accept and fulfill orders after December 9th, but for the BP channel, with a limit on FOE options, any orders received after that time appear to be at risk.

Know Your IBM (KYI) - Time is running out to earn points!

If you're new to KYI or an experienced user, now is the time to visit the IBM Know Your IBM site. There are now 25 modules available for education including MidMarket Solutions, Power, System x, Software and Tivoli - Plus! There are even mobile modules which allow you to take a course when away from your computer.

You only need to take three modules to be able to redeem your points. All modules must be taken by December 31, 2011.  Go to www.ibm.com/partnerworld/knowyouribm and earn your points by December 31, 2011.

4Q11 Mid-Market Progression "Push to Close" Incentive

Take advantage of a new co-marketing incentive designed to help you progress your mid-market leads.  Apply for an additional $5,000 to fund a marketing progression initiative designed to move open Mid-Market leads to wins in 2011. Funds must be matched at the 75/25 level.  In order to be eligible for $5,000 in IBM funding your progression tactic must exceed $6,666. The leads must be loaded into the IBM GPP tool to qualify for progression funding.  For details, see IBM Channel Communications Letter CC1110-281.
