Enroll now for no charge Softek Delivery Training -- October classes in Chicago

IBM Business Partners interested in selling Transactional Terabyte Licenses (TTLs) for IBM Global Technology Services Data Mobility Services (DMS) Softek products must complete delivery and perform training before TTLs can be purchased. This training will enable Business Partners to effectively use IBM Data Mobility tools to perform data migration and protection services for clients.

Two independent courses are available:
        (1) IBM Open Systems, 4 Days (32 teaching hours) or IBM Open Systems (Windows only), 2 Days (16 teaching hours), and
        (2) IBM z/OS Mainframe, 3 days (24 teaching hours)

Tuition for IBM Business Partners is discounted at 100% for these sessions in 4Q 2010.  Enroll online and in the Payment Information section, select "Invoice / Bill to IBM customer number," then complete the registration form with student information.  IBM Business Partners will not be billed any fee for attendance at this training even though a tuition fee is listed for this public class.  IBM Business Partners are responsible for their own travel and living expenses.

Audience
Students are required to be experienced Systems or Storage Administrators with knowledge of the host operating system and storage architecture. This course is not intended for sales personnel.

New Era in Disk Storage Training Session Roadshows - Coming to a City Near You!

IBM is announcing a "New Era in Disk Storage" on October 7 to continue to help our customers gain better control over the information explosion.    Is very important that our storage sellers get educated as quickly as possible to ensure that each one has a great start selling the new solutions beginning in Q4.

We have scheduled (10) one-day training sessions across North America to supplement what is being provided via the initial announcement calls.   These face-to-face classes will drill down deeper into what you need to know to be successful selling solutions that feature IBM's newest disk storage offering.

We plan to start the agenda at 8:30 am and expect to conclude by approximately 4:30 pm.   We'll make sure you understand what was announced and why it is so important to both IBM's overall storage strategy and those of our customers.    We'll talk about how to leverage the new subsystems to build integrated solutions supporting the leading applications our customers are running in their businesses.    You'll hear important insights on where to find opportunities for these storage solutions and how to position them most effectively relative to our portfolio.    You'll  get some in-depth training on how we differentiate IBM from some of our leading disk competition ("the devil is in the details") to help you sell the value and key benefits our customers can expect to receive.   We'll also cover the "mechanics" of selling the newest disk solutions, including tips on configuring, pricing, ordering, and more....
