PR is particularly effective in building brand equity because of its power to positively enhance brand awareness, brand loyalty, perceived quality and other brand associations that differentiate your brand from other market choices.
A great PR campaign can increase sales. Sometimes increased sales will come as a direct affect of a well-placed story; sometimes it's harder to prove a correlation. But, if you have a few stories and a good PR campaign you are increasing public knowledge of your brand and end users will more than likely think of you down the road.
