According to Nancy Greene, IBM Retail Store Solutions, effective April 20, 2010, eligible IBM Business Partners who pass a service lead to the North America Retail Services Center (NRSC) can receive a lead pass fee for NRSC services business closed as a result of the lead. This lead-pass program offers an opportunity for Business Partners to team with IBM and to increase their firm's end-user satisfaction.
The NRSC is a services group within IBM Retail Store Solutions that specializes in helping retailers minimize the time and risk typically associated with developing, customizing, and integrating store-level solutions.

This lead-pass program continues to underscore IBM's commitment to our Business Partners.
Fees for eligible leads passed to the NRSC for Loss Prevention solutions will, when closed, be paid at 3% of the IBM services contract value up to a maximum fee of $30,000 per opportunity.
- Loss Prevention is defined as any solution that reduces point-of-sale transaction losses due to either
- undetected items on the bottom of shopping carts or
- sub-optimized cashier scanning due to either fraudulent intent or poor operational execution.
- Other solutions include customization of point-of-sale software applications, loyalty and payment solutions, and more.
