IBM InfoSphere Content Collector V2.1.1 Product Implementation and Maintenance Training (PIT/PMT)
PxT courses provide information about new ECM Product releases, via the IBM ECM Early Education Program. For each new product, there are up to four online modules depending upon the nature of the release, as follows:
- Product Sales Training (PST) provides an update of the product features, functionality, competition, programs, and sales engagement.
- Product Architecture Training (PAT) provides information to a technical audience so that they can understand and articulate the technical aspects and architecture of the product.
- Product Implementation Training (PIT) provides product installation and configuration knowledge.
- Product Maintenance Training (PMT) covers complex product installation, configuration and support.
- Start at the ECM Training Track: http://eb140.elearn.ihost.com/ECM/index.htm At top left of the Training Track screen, sign into the ECM Learner Portal (password will be different than your network credentials)
- New User: Click on "Need a UserID" on the left for full instructions http://eb140.elearn.ihost.com/ECM/index.htm or Email tsmail@us.ibm.com. Put ECM Learner Portal ID Request in the Subject line, include your first and last name, corporate email address, company name, city, and country.
- Partners: If you are an IBM Partner, please also include your IBM ID and your partner relationship with IBM (IBM SWVN partner, IBM PartnerWorld partner, IBM Support Providing Partner). NOTE: Heritage IBM partners who become IBM SWVN partners will need to complete a new Request an ID Process. E-mail tsmail@us.ibm.com and put ECM Learner Portal ID Request in the Subject line. Include your first and last name, corporate email address, company name, city, and country. State that you are changing your registration to reflect SWVN rights to the ECM Learner Portal. Your password will be reset to reflect this change in status.
- Once you have access to the ECM Learner Portal, you can search for Available Courses using the course code or name. Once you locate a course, select it by using a radio button and then click the "Launch" link to open and review the materials. If the search doesn't return the course, then it is likely that you have already been enrolled in the courses. You will validate this by reviewing the list of enrolled courses (sorted by alphabetical order) within the "Enrolled courses" menu option.
