Since 1953, the International Forum Design awards have been a reliable indicator of outstanding quality in design, and the iF is one of the most prestigious worldwide Industrial Design competitions. The design competition is held at the Hannover Fair (CeBIT) in Germany, the world's largest industrial fair with 6,000 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors. This year's design competition had over 2,500 entries.
Special recognition for this award goes to Brad Johnson from our RSS Design and Engineering team.
Our 500 will be on display for nearly a year and will be published in a design yearbook as well as on-line.
This award is a great example of how IBM leads the industry in making retail smarter. Congratulations to the entire SurePOS 500 team.
