It's Time for Arrow Partners to Get Prepared for the New Authorized Distribution Reseller Authorization Group

Lotus Social Software and Unified Communications SVP Product Group coming in July

According to an email sent out by IBM, Lotus is creating a new Reseller Authorization Group, (RAG) called Social Software and Unified Communications (SS&UC) which will include the following product groups: Lotus Sametime, Sametime Unified Telephony, Connections, Quickr.
 

SS&UC RAG will be added to Authorized Distribution on July 1, 2010. After July 1, 2010, partners wishing to resell products included in this RAG must have 2 of any combination of technical certifications or technical sales masteries in Sametime, Quickr or Connections. Sametime includes Sametime Unified Telephony. Additionally they must pass the SS&UC Sales Mastery test as well as apply to and be approved into the RAG.

The Social Software and Unified Communications Sales Mastery test must be taken and passed. To access that test, here is the url:

IBM Certified System Administrator - Lotus Quickr 8.1 for IBM WebSphere Portal
IBM Certified System Administrator - IBM Lotus Sametime 8.0
IBM Certified Application Developer - IBM Lotus Sametime 7.5
