This pre-sales technical training conference combines both lecture and technical lab sessions to give the participant a well rounded experience. Lectures focus on selling the IBM DS3000/DS4000/DS5000 series hardware, software and premium features. Participants also learn how to position these products against the competition. The lab sessions provide hands-on experience and pre-sales technical knowledge and teach how to utilize the DS4000/DS5000 Storage Manager. Q & A time is built into both lecture and lab sessions. This conference is ideal for someone new to selling the IBM DS Series or for someone looking to refresh their IBM DS Series knowledge.

- Experience with Windows, AIX, Linux, UNIX, or LAN/WAN fundamentals, TCP/IP, knowledge or experience with Storage Area Networks (SANs) and Fibre Channel topology.
- For optimal success in the training, we recommend that participants are familiar with systems administration or are power users in UNIX/Linux or Windows 2000/2003 environments.
