In response to feedback from Business Partners, IBM is simplifying Growth Through Skills by reducing the number of WebSphere Reseller Authorization groups.
WebSphere Reseller Authorization Group highlights:
- Three groups instead of six
- No change to the Business Process Management group
- No change to the Commerce group
- New: WebSphere Core group, a combination of the Connectivity, SOA Foundation, and Enterprise Transaction Reseller Authorization groups
- DataPower and WebSphere Cloudburst in the SOA Appliance group were removed from Growth Through Skills as they already have an established controlled distribution process
- No change to WebSphere products in open distribution
