We have developed the N series Gateway Competitive Displacement Offer to assist you in your efforts to replace competitive storage and increase IBM storage footprint.
When selling into multi-vendor environments, leverage the power of the IBM N series Gateway to enable your customers to get maximum utilization and efficiency from their storage infrastructure. With IBM N series storage, they will be able to take advantage of advanced features and functionality such as: concurrent multi-protocol (NFS, CIFS, FC and iSCSI) support, de-duplication, thin provisioning and SnapMirror which can be extended across their legacy storage.
The Offer: Customer N series Gateway Competitive Offer
Sell N series and displace HP/EMC/Dell/Sun in a competitive opportunity, and receive a FREE N series Gateway HW Controller. Offer good on deals over $125K that include at least two N series advanced Software licenses (Software must be purchased at standard discount (non-LOA).This “end-use” discount program is intended to complement the existing Blue Star program and other “seller” incentives and rebate programs (Box Bonus, Gateway Kicker, and Services Rebate). It is critical to position as such to drive success of promotional activity.
Qualifying/Eligible Products and opportunities
To qualify, opportunities must be at least $125,000(US) in N series hardware and software license revenue. Support and Maintenance revenue not included.Revenue is defined as Distributor “sales out” or Business Partner cost, not end-user, “ASP” pricing.
The deal must include any two N series SW licenses at standard (non-LOA) pricing.
Deal must be registered and approved via standard opportunity registration process.
Start and/or End Dates
Program begins on July 1, 2009 and ends September 30th, 2009. N series sales invoices must have a date on or after July 1, 2009 but not later than Sept 30th, 2009 to qualify.Who’s Eligible
All IBM Business Partner authorized and certified to sell N series in North America.
Terms and Conditions- Rebates are given to IBM Distributor as evidenced by an IBM invoice.
- Rebate is not given directly to IBM Business Partner or Customer
- This offer is combinable with other IBM and IBM N series promotional offerings, including: Virtualization Rebate, Services Rebate, N series Box Bonus and Gateway Kicker incentives.
- Any request for Special Bid Offers (SBO) that result in special pricing request(LOA) to NetApp disqualifies that deal.
- Eligible claims must be filed within 30 days of ship date to qualify for this offer.
- Maximum of 20 rebates to be paid out for the lifetime of this program. Promotional unit limit and program extension upon review.
